You can run, but you can't hide

"Militants abduct a first cousin of Iraqi interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi and two of his family members in Baghdad, reportedly threatening to kill them unless the Falluja siege is lifted."

What are the militants going to do after US forces leave Falluja? They sure can't hide anywhere.
"There are no buildings left anywhere in Falluja. Wake up you militants. You can't hide in Falluja."

Remember..."You can run, but you can't hide"

I know what it means now.

The same thing was said about Vietnam. They are hiding in plain sight! The insurgents / terrorists / guerillas / freedom fighters / what-ever, are of the people, very easy for them to return to their previous walks of life, and melt back into the scenery.

Interesting point to note. Where did the arms that the insurgents have come from? Some say that the Iraqis had a lot of guns all along, even through the Saddam years. If this is true, why did they not rise against Saddam the way they are doing now?
