Was Kanchi Seer’s hastened arrest a diversion by the government?

Was the arrest a ploy to divert the public’s attention away from the ‘mystery of Veerappan’s killing’ controversy?

I’m not sure about that, but if that is the case, well they did a damn good job. You see…now nobody is talking about Veerappan’s killing and everyone seems to have forgotten that issue. God, I love politics :)

Thomas Jefferson, third president of USA, was plagued by migraines throughout his punblic service career. When he retired at age 66, his migraines dissappeared. Politics is indeed a dirty game. Through the current furore, no-one has stood up and questioned the fact that the Swami was arrested on suspicion, which is a violation of his (or anyones) rights! His title, position, caste, religious affiliation, saintliness, etc, etc be damned!
