Tsunami in Tamil Nadu, India

The first news that I read today morning as soon as I got up was about the Tsunami that hit Tamil Nadu and other parts of India and south east Asia killing more than 3000 people as of now. These tidal waves were triggered by a massive earthquake -- 8.9 on the Richter scale -- that hit the Indonesian island of Sumatra.

Immediately I remembered reading something about a predicted earthquake in rediff.com.
I dugout the article and here it is http://www.rediff.com/news/2004/dec/04quake.htm

Even thought it's not accurate as in the article, it's very close and we still can't rule out any other worse possibilities. Let's hope nothing like that happens.

Iam glad that Iam a fan of Fox & Friends, Fox News. Only they seem to be covering this Tsunami extensively.

You can get a graphic map of the various earthquakes around the world here http://earthquake.usgs.gov/recenteqsww/
