Today morning drive was fun.
There was this lady in her Tan color Nissan Maxima, behind me, and was trying to tail-gate me. I got all pumped up and decided to give her a good time. So we started to race. haha.I think it was almost for like 10 miles. I kicked ass. Then we saw a cop's car ahead of us and both of us had to slow down a little bit. But it was fun.

My car should have arrived at New York on Friday. Hope fully within the next 20 days I should be getting it here. Iam all excited about it. My weekend was very relaxing. I just got Friends Season 8 DVDs and was watching it. Also I have started to read Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code.

Hindi movie star Vivek Oberoi has adopted Devanaam Pattinam (Thevanampattinam) village in Tamil Nadu

His family has camped in the village, and he has been going to every house in the village talking to them. He says "I have come here with a group of doctors. I stayed and bought lots of medicine, stoves, utensils from Chennai. We are going to start by giving proper medical care to the people, then taking care of food, and then repair the partially damaged houses. We are going to build new houses where the old ones have been completely destroyed. I will stay here for few more days, talk to the people and see what they need and take care of them. I'm also planning to buy new fishing nets and talking to some of my friends in Mumbai. We are also considering importing modern nets from china. I haven't thought about how much it's going to cost and I am not concerned too."

As you probably already know, starting with the worst affected state, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Kerala have all been hit severely by a tidal wave, the so called Tsunami.

Although the full magnitude of the disaster is still being assessed, unquestionably thousands of some of the poorest of our fellow Indians have been rendered helpless. AID volunteers in India are involved in providing immediate succour. We in the Diaspora here should do everything that we can to help out. We seek financial help from you for this cause. Karunanidhi passed away? A rumour?

There was a rumor in Chennai today at around 1100am that Karunanidhi passed away. Earlier in the day he was hospitalized for some back pain. Immediately as the rumor spread that he passed away, around 1100am, some vandals started to wreck havoc in the city, and shops were closed and 2-3 vehicles were burned.
